Busy, Busy, Busy

Been a long time since I last posted an entry. What can I say, busy busy busy... Busy.

For the most part of the month, my computer was not working. And I couldn't figure out what was the problem.

What's funny about my damned computer is that it keeps giving me problems that I have never encountered. I mean, I am by no means a technophobe, and I have troubleshot and fixed other people's computers so many times. I have done the same to mine as well. But once in a while, my computer will spring up a problem to which I have no clue what to do.

Anyway, long boring story short, my computer had a heat problem. I think the old CPU fan was dying, so I replaced it with a new one. But the damned new heatsink + fan combo was too big, and it created an airflow problem. Thus, I had to buy a new chassis.

I forked out over a hundred bucks for CPU heatsink + fan, a new chassis, 2 hard disk fans, and 1 chassis fan, with the bulk of the money going to the new Powerlogic Climatica 300 MX system chassis.

If I wasn't so lazy, I would snap a picture of my new chassis and put it up here. But I am. So I won't.

Here's a picture from the chassis distributor's website.

I like the look of my system now. It's all black. :D Except for my monitor.

On to other topics.

Work? Work has been getting worse. With one of my colleagues gone, I have to take over what he had been doing. So, on top of my already-heavy workload, I have his to handle as well. Everyday at work has been crazy for me. Can't wait till I start clearing my Off and Leave, when my Understudy would have to handle all this shit instead. Haha. :P

Speaking of which, I have counted the working days still I start clearing. As of today, I have only 40 more working days left! Woohoo!

Although, if you want to be technical on the details... I still have a ways to go...
