As mentioned in the previous entry, I had another bad haircut. :( A few weeks ago, I decided to get my (relatively) long hair chopped off. I went to the EC House at Woodlands Civic Centre and some young dude worked on my hair. Once he was done, I was staring at the mirror and was wondering, "What the hell?" It was a bunch of mess, so I told him to neaten the sides up a bit. And when that was done, I thought, "Well, maybe I can style this."

I was wrong. It was such a mess that I went to another barber (a neighbourhood one, this time) to get it tidied up. The neighbourhood barber did a good job, but I just didn't like the look of the hairstyle. Some parts that were shorter than other parts (due to what the first "barber" did) stuck out and looked very idiotic. I'm the kind of guy who would just put some Brisk cream on my hair, comb a bit and kinda forget about it until I get home. So, to keep fussing with the hair every so often got on my nerves real quick.

So I figured it was relatively short, so I couldn't really do much, but I had a short hairdo some time ago and I didn't mind it... I thought I'd get it cut the same style again. If you think this photograph looks familiar... Well, I used this in my entry about passport photos 2 years ago! :)

On 20th June, I went out to run some errands and since I was already at Woodlands Civic Centre, I figured I'd give EC House a try again.

Big mistake. I even showed the barber (some female one this time) the picture above, and she still got it wrong! I told her to cut it the same as the one in the picture, and she verbalised the hair cut to me, and it sounded right, so I said ok to it. When she started close-shaving left, right and back, I knew she got it wrong. :(

So, this is the outcome of the haircut. I am almost bald! It makes me feel like I am still back in NS. :(

But I figured, "Welllllllll, let's look at the bright side... Like Malek said, it has been hot these days. Short hair like this would keep me cooler. Plus... Maybe there's some way to make this look better..."

And thus, much hair cream and wax later.

I suppose it doesn't look all that bad (plus Drew Carey is like super freaking rich!), but I don't think I'll ever go back to EC House again. -.-"

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the old and new haircuts. Erm, I guess there's not much of a difference after all. Haha. Just slightly shorter by less than an inch. And oh my god, look how much fatter my cheeks are! Hahahah! Accumulation of fats over the span of 2 years. :P

Did all the focus on the Photoshopping and the weird hair distract you from the fact that these pictures are weirdly distorted? The lower part of my face is much wider and disproportionate (and it's not due to my fat cheeks!). Damned Lumix FZ-5's lens' wide angle end. Meh.

I noticed something was off, but I didn't realise it until I got to this last picture... So I only fixed the last one (kinda), and not the others. Haha. Got lazy to re-edit all the pictures. Plus, I need to go to sleep now.

Have to attend Seletar Camp's Best Unit Ceremony later today. -.-" I've already ORD-ed, dammit.
