Jr's Wedding
Jr's wedding was on 24th February at CHIJMES. Met up with the folks from my previous company over there. :D
I re-read the entry I just linked up there while blogging this... Oh man, brought back so much memories. I re-read a few older entries after that... And I got pissed off again for a while. :D Hahahaha.
Anyway. Jr's wedding! Jr was the Operations Manager in my previous company, and I remember enjoying all our lunch outings back then. Jr and A.A with their Friday-Feasts (and sometimes, Monday-, Tuesday-, Wednesday- and Thursday-Feasts too!) and all the bitching that happened during our lunches. Fun! I think that was what probably got me through the rest of the day. Heh.
I met up with my ex-designer-colleague, Shian, at City Hall MRT station where she had just been stalked by a creepy old man, at about 7:40 pm. Heh. We then met up with A.A and my ex-Art-Director, Mag, at the front of CHIJMES hall. It was my first time attending a (what I was told) typical Chinese wedding and it was quite an experience. Jr and his bride looked good together and somebody (I'm not saying who!) was wondering what Jr did to deserve such a pretty wife! Hahahaha!
I brought my Panasonic Lumix FZ-5 along, but I really wasn't in the mood to take photographs. I wasn't satisfied anymore with my Lumix after using so many DSLRS, and I was there as a guest, not a photographer, so I didn't want to bother. Plus, I want a DSLR. :P Anyway, less talk, more pictures. Here we go.
Dear friends, this is what happen to your photographs if you are lazy to change your white-balance and you anyhow whack a shot. Please don't be lazy like me. :D
Is it just me or does Shian look a bit different in this picture? Hrmm... Hi Shian! :D Oh, and Mag! Hi Mag! Hahaha.
First walk-in by Jr and his beautiful bride. :) Jr looks slimmer, doesn't he? Congratulations to both of ya!
And of course, I will only get a properly exposed photograph when their backs are turned. Maybe I should've just set the camera to Simple settings and blast the flash. I really didn't bother to take these pictures properly. I'm so ashamed. :(
Second walk-in. Look at the groom all happy, flushed and smiling! And the bride looks super tired already! Must've been the Gucci tie that was keeping him going. Haha.
The train looked nice while the bride was walking, but there was one point where Jr almost stepped on it while she was walking ahead of him. I was all totally, "Omg, he almost stepped on it!" I couldn't imagine what would happen if she stumbled and fell! o.O
That's about all the photographs that I took on that day. I figured we can all wait about 3 months for the official photographer to get back to Jr with the edited pictures, and we can get them from him then. Hurr.
In other news, went for another walk with A.A on Wednesday. Will blog about that next... Plus, I've got a lot of stuff to study, but haven't been able to do it properly yet. Off to sleep, now, and gonna study later in the afternoon! Wish me luck! :D
