Sunrise Shooting

I stayed up the whole night again last night. I've been doing a lot of that lately. One of the best things about not having a job, I suppose. I'm planning to enjoy it while I still can. :D

At about 6:30 am, I glanced out my bedroom window and saw beautiful sky, clouds and the sun was about to rise. I quickly got my camera out, went to my balcony where I got a better view, and took some photographs.

I really like the colours in this photograph.

I was peering through my Electronic Viewfinder, trying to compose a shot of the pink clouds when a flock of birds came flying by. I was taken by surprise, so I only managed to get a shot of the birds that were lagging behind.

I want to be one with the clouds.

At about 7 am, the sun started peeking from the woods. I took about ten images of the sun rising, and I like all of them. This one was shot at 7:02 am.

I've always talked about wanting to shoot sunrise, and I managed to do it this time from the comfort of my own home. Haha. But I'd love to go out somewhere and shoot. Changi beach has great spots for both sunrise and sunset. Maybe one of these days I could shoot both on the same day. But for now, I'm content with these shots. :)

Life is, indeed, beautiful.
