Tests

Shall make this short. I've got things to do. Am currently watching The Fockers on DVD and packing my stuff and also blogging at the same time. :P

Let's see, what have been going on for the past 2 weeks? Let's start with yesterday. I went to JB to get some comics. And by some, I mean about RM100 worth of it. Hurhurhur. :P I basically went shopping during my little trip.

And of course there's my Driving course that I'm going through at the moment. Don't want to talk about that right now. =_="

Have I ever mentioned I hate staying in? God, I'm going to be so glad when my NS life is over. I hate getting my freedom forced away from me.

Alright, I shall divulge a bit on my Driving course. Had my Highway Code Test 2 weeks ago, 50 MCQs and the passing mark is 45 and above. I got 49/50. Woot woot. :P Upcoming test is the Highway Situational Problems test, where we have this stupid road map and we push toy trucks and cars on it to simulate highway situations. At certain points, we are to explain the things that we are to look out for and what we're to do. So, basically, you'd have me pointing to a toy tonner saying things like, "At this point, check the left and right mirrors for motorcyclists squeezing in from the left and vehicles overtaking from the right. Beware of pedestrians crossing the road, and confirm there's no pedestrian. Proceed cautiously." After saying that, you'd have me pushing the toy tonner to another point and it starts all over again.

Everybody thinks it's stupid. Even the instructor says it is. But SAF wants it that way, so it shall be. I've heard from someone that the civilian testing has no such nonsense. Sheesh.

Then we'll also have a "Height & Lashing" test. I think that's how it's spelled. We would have 10 minutes to tie (and untie once it's done) a cargo securely to the tonner in a certain way, using Butterfly and Quick-Release knots. Not that difficult, methinks.

There's also the parking test. We'd be parking the 3 tonner and there are so many ways to fail, I'm not even going to bother to mention. Ultimately will be the driving test. And this is one that I don't think I will be able to pass.

Bah.

Okay, gotta go. See ya guys next week.
