Walk Journal 5 & 6

Hadn't gotten around to posting the videos to the walking sessions I had with A.A last week, so here they are.

Walk 5 was on last Monday, 3rd March 2008. We wanted to walk further, but didn't have much time as I needed to catch the last train back to Woodlands. We pressed on anyway, and I was pleased with the distance we managed to cover. 6.31 KM! Not bad for just 1 hour 30 minutes! The longest distance we've gone so far, and I managed to (run and) catch the 2nd last train to boot. Heh.

Here's the transcript of the above video :

[Cut 1]

"It just rained. Cool atmosphere. Waiting for A.A to come by."

[Cut 2]

"Back to our starting point. Been... Quite tiring."

Erm. Yeah. That's it. Haha! After the 6.31 KM, I guess I couldn't talk so much. :P

We had a short pitstop at one of the gas stations a little bit after the half-way mark, where I cam-whored for a bit. Hurr. :P

Then, we had another walking session, Walk 6, on Wednesday, 5th March 2008. I blogged about this, then went to my Introduction to Media Communication class, then went for the walk. At that point of time, I was still trying to get over the fact that I pretty much slept through the COR 100 waiver exam. -.-"

And here's the transcript of this video :

[Cut 1]

"Sixth walk. The day of my COR 100 waiver exam. I'm still quite pissed with myself. But I got a... Contact address of the head of the Communications department. Maybe there's something that can be done."

[Cut 2]

"You video-ing?"

"Yeah. I am."

"It's so idyllic."

"Pretty."

"Yeah."

[Cut 2]

"An hour and 17 minutes, right?"

"Yeah."

"An hour and 17 minutes?"

"Yeah, barely enough. Yeah."

"Alright. But I think uh, it was, it was really fruitful."

"It was really really good."

"Yeap."

"And you, you even managed to fit in a jog, which is really good."

"Well..."

"You're drenched, by the way."

"Am I? [Laughs] Cannot see lah. Nevermind."

So, we were from UniSIM, and headed towards West Coast Park in A.A's car, and started walking from a nearby carpark. We paused at the jetty for a few minutes, and there were yachts and sampans all over the place, that it almost didn't look like Singapore. That was cool. :) The handphone image of it below isn't though.

Imagine it's a nice night shot picture ok? I don't bring my Lumix to my walking sessions. Hahhaa. This session was only 5.36 KM, and it took an hour and 17 minutes, but that's because we had a few pauses. We tried some stations at the exercise area for a few minutes, along with a couple of other pauses. I wanted to jog a bit, and I said to A.A, "Let's jog to... That white area there, I don't know what that is." I thought it was near, but it wasn't! It was quite far! But I managed to drag my ass there without stopping, so I was pretty happy about that. :D

Another walking session tomorrow with A.A. :)
